This fine dining restaurant, Itta Bena, within the Wind Creek Montgomery Casino & Hotel is modeled after its famous predecessor on Beale Street. The iconic blue-hued atmosphere is carried throughout the restaurant with backlit windows and ceiling uplight, creating the dark shadows of the speakeasy experience. The cool tone is contrasted with warm white downlighting to highlight the food and balance the design. Custom moving flame LED candles fill the restaurant's niches, shelves and industrial chandeliers, pulling together a dynamic and romantic atmosphere. Michelle's role on this project was Lead Lighting Designer with CLD-E and was awarded an IESNA IA Award of Merit.
